LifeCycles: Low and Slow to High and Fast

Do you believe we go through cycles in our life? I call them LifeCycles and I have been experiencing them in a big way this year. I had a quiet, solemn, and reflective winter. Then, in need of some more stimulation, I became the west coast representative for PFI (Partners for Incentives) and am back in the incentive business with both travel and merchandise awards.

I now also represent Event-Works, the most incredible Swiss-designed, and produced event management software. I studied for, and passed my Master Mariner’s Captains License test (with a 99.99% score) and became qualified to take passengers for hire. And then just last week, I was hired by the America’s Cup to be captain of one of their VIP Spectator boats all the way through the end of September.

I went from a low and slow Cycle to a high and fast one in the blink of an eye. It just shows that no matter where you are in life, you can change it. You just have to be willing to take a chance, take a risk, and put yourself “out there.” Even if you don’t know where that license, certification, or new job is going to take you, get it done, go for it, reach for the sky, and I’m confident you can achieve whatever you dream.
